Description

This course aims to improve the students’ ability to extract specific information and to improve the students’ mastery of word-formation rules. The language tasks are designed to improve the students’ mastery of certain grammatical aspects, such as restructuring sentences and referencing and the ability to translate short technical extracts. A specific language task is devoted to familiarizing the students with the basic features of the language used in the International Maritime Conventions issued by the International Maritime Organization.
