Student seminar on soft skills organized by the Student Union of the Faculty of  Medicine

The Student Union of the Faculty of Medicine recently organized a seminar focused on developing soft skills for medical students. The seminar aimed to provide students with the necessary tools to communicate effectively, work as part of a team, and handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism. Recognizing the importance of these skills in the medical field, the Student Union invited speakers who are experts in areas such as emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and leadership to share their knowledge and insights with the attendees.

The seminar included interactive workshops, role-playing exercises, and group discussions to give students practical experience in applying the soft skills they were learning. Students had the opportunity to practice active listening, giving and receiving feedback, and problem-solving in a supportive and constructive environment. By the end of the seminar, participants had gained valuable skills that will not only benefit them in their future medical careers, but also in their personal lives. The Student Union plans to continue offering workshops and seminars focused on soft skills development to help students become well-rounded and competent healthcare professionals.
