The International Day of Women and Girls in Science Celebration at AASTMT
The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) in cooperation with the UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science in the Arab States organized a celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science (IDWGIS) that will be held on 10 - 11 February 2024, at AASTMT AbuKir Campus, where IDWGIS is celebrated annually on the 11th of February.
It is worth to mention that IDWGIS aims at empowering women as to enable young women to pursue education and to enhance opportunities for women and girls in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and other fields, as well as ensuring gender equality in science. The celebration will be held in the presence of 150 high level participants from diverse generations and fields.
