Healthcare Convoy and Ramadan Charity Reach Out to Al-Alamein Community
Alamien: Under the cooperation protocol between the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and the Subsidiary Physicians Syndicate of Alexandria, and sponsored by Professor Dr. Mohamed Hisham Abdel Monem, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Professor Dr. Abdel Monem Fawzy, the Syndicate of Physicians in Alexandria, along with Dr. Dar El Salam Hussein, Director of the Social Solidarity Directorate in Marsa Matrouh, the first medical convoy was organized to the city of Old Alamein.
The convoy included a group of doctors from various medical specialties (internal medicine, pediatrics, surgery, dermatology, and ophthalmology), providing medical services to a number of patients. Examinations were conducted for 71 pediatric cases, 40 dermatological cases, 91 ophthalmological cases, 65 internal medicine cases, and 9 surgical cases.
Furthermore, the academy distributed Ramadan aid, including 75 Ramadan bags and 100 kilograms of dates, as well as Zakat funds to approximately 65 citizens, reaffirming its active role in community service.
