AASTMT President Meeting with the elected IMO Secretary General
Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport’s (AASTMT) distinguished relations with the International Maritime Organization (IMO), H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail - AASTMT President congratulated H.E. Mr. Arsenio Antonio Dominguez Velasco (Republic of Panama) who has been elected as IMO Secretary-General, with effect from 1st of January 2024, for an initial term of four years. The meeting was held on the sideline of the IMO Council – 129th session which was held from 17th to 21st of July 2023, at the IMO headquarter – London – UK.
