Documentation of some of the summer activities of students inside and outside the country

In addition to the distinguished training courses organized by the management of the Faculty of Medicine for summer training for students in different stages at the private hospitals affiliated with the Ministry of Health in Alexandria, and the outstanding student participation in the "100 Days of Health" campaign in Alexandria and Port Said, as well as local medical conferences and activities of the college's scientific research club, the students of the college were keen to engage in multiple additional activities during the summer vacation. We would like to document some of the activities that took place inside and outside the country:

International Workshops

- Student May Shalou participated in the following activities in Romania, India, and the Sudanese Embassy:

  • Mental health essential workshop hosted by UMF Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania.
  • Biomed conference 2023 in Delhi.
  • Migration Workshop by the Sudanese Embassy.

Training in hospitals and educational institutions abroad

  • Student Farah Tamer, currently in the second stage, underwent training in the Cardiothoracic Surgery Department at Uniklinik Augsburg in Augsburg, Germany, for the entire month of August.
  • Student Alaa Ashraf underwent training at the Editing Center in Qatar for a period of 30 days during August and September, attending several workshops held there.
  • Students Jana Al-Baili and Sandra Askenader attended training at the Research Laboratory in Chicago, Illinois, at Northwestern University- Feinberg School of Medicine for three weeks during the past August.
  • Students Hana Hisham, currently in the third stage, and Rawan Hisham, currently in the second stage, underwent training at King Fahd Hospital in Saudi Arabia for one week each.

Various activities outside the medical field

Student Madonna Adel Hashem, currently in the second stage, was crowned Miss Eco-Teen Elegant Egypt in a celebration called Nephroalex. The event was held to design fashion from recycled products to preserve the environmental health of the country.
