AAST College of Medicine Second Medical Convoy Provides Services in Marsa Matrouh

On April 29, the College of Medicine at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT), Alamein branch announcs the successful deployment of its second medical convoy. This initiative was conducted in collaboration with the Marsa Matrouh Directorate of Social Solidarity and the Alexandria Pharmacists' Syndicate.

The convoy is part of the Academy's ongoing community service program aimed at providing free medical services to surrounding communities. Faculty members and students from both the colleges of Medicine and Clinical Pharmacy participated in this effort. The caravan traveled to El-Hamam area in Marsa Matrouh, where it was hosted by the Directorate of Social Solidarity.

The medical services offered by the convoy included specialties such as internal medicine, pediatrics, surgery, and ophthalmology. During the event, free medications were distributed and more than 250 patients were examined, reflecting the Academy's active role in community service and public health enhancement.
