Some databases are only accessible through the Egyptian Knowledge Bank (EKB) http://www.ekb.eg

The Academy IPs were added to ensure that AASTMT teaching staff, researchers, and students have access to the resources EKB makes available, and be able to register for the "Researchers" portal.

Please note that:

1. Registration is only done once and has to be "in campus" so that the IP is recognized.
2. After registering, you may use your account from anywhere in Egypt.
3. At least once every 90 days, you should sign-in from any of the Academy campuses, so EKB keeps recognizing you as related to the Academy.

In order to be able to register, you have to be:

1. Egyptian, and
2. Currently living in Egypt.
