1.Arab Rally Competition for Entrepreneurship & Innovation
2021 - Current

Arab Rally Competition for Entrepreneurship & Innovation is one of the largest entrepreneurship & Innovation competitions that gathers, inspires, develops, and mentors’ university students to help them develop innovative startup ideas, and turn their ideas into a real-life business and experience. This competition helps youth to become entrepreneurs from a young age, and learn about the entrepreneurship & Innovation culture and its wide ecosystem.

Arab Entrepreneurship & Innovation Rally 2021-2022
Under the patronage of the League of Arab States, the 2nd Rally edition will be held at Dubai Expo 2020 jointly by the Union of Arab Chambers, Arab Academy’s Entrepreneurship Center, UNIDO ITPO / AICEI Bahrain, and the support of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce.
22 Teams from University students (Technology Track) and top 3 startups teams (Spin–Offs Track) from 22 Arab Countries will get the opportunity to compete in Rally with their innovative and technological startup ideas. The focus will be to attract influencers from the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Ecosystem, capacity building, and engage with university students and startups in all Arab countries.

2.Egypt Rally Startup Competition
2016 - Annually

Egypt Rally startup competition is a full program that focuses on university students who are eager to develop their ideas to real business model and focuses on established startups to help them in boosting their startups.
The program includes capacity building, pre-incubation training, one to one mentorship for startups, access to online entrepreneurship content via our Startup School, success stories and networking events in addition to financial cash awards.
In partnership with the National Bank of Egypt, we celebrated the finale of Egypt Rally Competition in the STARTUP FESTIVAL that was held in the beautiful Sharm ELSheikh City, March 2021. with participation of more than 120 startup and potential startups from 10 partner universities. Competition was targeting two different stakeholders: university Students with technological innovations and also targeting running startups focused on Industrial innovation and Tourism related startups.
Startups had a great value and exposure as they had the opportunity to pitch by the sea in front of high profile judges, exhibition spaces to showcase their startups, match making and investments chances, panel discussions and roundtables.

3.Rally Accelerate Startup Competition
2021 - Annually

Rally Accelerate is an End-to-End fundraising program targeting Egyptian startups who are aiming to scale their business.
70+ Startups from all over Egypt shall be ed from different sectors (Supply chain-tech, Fin-tech, Health-tech, Agri-business, Tourism) to join two months investment readiness program from top notch experts, fund managers and angel investors.
15 + Startups will then be considered in the final phase who shall be featured on media (Tv) for branding, PR and exposure to their business, and investors will have a closer look at their businesses.
Top 5 Startups will be strongly supported by a dedicated specialized team to help them in raising proper investments for their business, sharing profiles with several investors and VCs in the MENA region, Europe and USA.
Top 5 Startups will also have the chance to travel to Germany to get insights on international best practices and meet with advanced European startups, entrepreneurship experts and ecosystem players for the purpose of helping scale their business.

4. Autonomous Driving Vehicles- ADV
September 2021

The ADV League is an open-source competition and includes a series of tasks of increasing complexity.ADV is the first competition in Egypt for teams developing self-driving for autonomous vehicles. ADV will take place in November 2021 and consist of 3 tasks with 2 trials in each challenge.
Task1 Each team will be able to run 2 rounds on a map with lanes and dimensions 30cm, where your team needs to follow a lane for the longest distance in the best time.
Task2 Teams will be able to run 2 rounds on a map with lanes and obstacles that they need to avoid.
Task3 Your team will be able to run 2 trials following a lane with the presence of another vehicle ”robot”.

5. African Arab Programming Championship ACPC, Luxor - Egypt 2021
September 2021

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport organized the activities of the African Arab Software Championship competition, which was held in Luxor, in the presence of His Excellency Dr.Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag, President of The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, Transport, and Dr. Mohamed Mahjoub, President of Luxor University. The tournament includes 12 Arab and African countries with a group of 150 teams representing 60 universities Among the most prominent participating countries are Egypt, Kuwait, Jordan, Syria, Tunisia, Lebanon, and other African and Arab countries.  The winning teams will qualify to participate in the international software competition, which will be hosted this year in the Russian capital, Moscow, with the participation of more than 25,000 contestants, representing 2,300 universities from around the world.

6. Prelim Stage of "IEEE YESIST 12" Competition
July 2022

The College of Engineering and Technology of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT) will host the Prelim Stage of “IEEE YESIST 12” that will be held during 3 - 4 July 2022, at AASTMT AbuKir Campus - Alexandria - Egypt, for students of age from 12 to 17 years.

The competition has five competitive tracks, and each track has a dedicated submission link, as the first stage, Prelim finalists will compete in global finale with teams from more than 20 countries. The IEEE YESIST12 Grand Finale will take place in hybrid mode in September 2022 in India.

YESIST12 (Youth Endeavours For Social Innovation Using Sustainable Technology) (SS12) is an International talent show, where students and young professionals expose their budding immaculate ideas to resolve the social and humanitarian issues.

7. "AASTMT Golden Jubilee " Competition
July 2022

Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) celebration of Golden Jubilee and the fiftieth year of foundation, AASTMT announces the launching of “AASTMT Golden Jubilee” Competition for students of high school or equivalent foreign certificates. The competition will be held under the auspices of H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President, as the participation and registration process will be applicable till 31- 7- 2022, and the participant should follow AASTMT website, and should answer the announced questions for a period of five continuous days during the period from 1 - 5 August 2022, from 12:00 am to 11:55 pm (20 questions every day).

It is worth to mention that the winners will receive partial scholarships up to 25% on AASTMT Tuition fees of AASTMT different colleges in any Campus inside Egypt, as well as the competition is available to students who wish to transfer from other universities in case of consistency with AASTMT admission requirements and conditions. Moreover, the competition is available to Egyptians and non-Egyptians. As it should be noted that parents, graduates, or technical education students are not allowed to participate or register in the competition activities.

8. The Egyptian Collegiate Programming Contest "'ECPC 2021"
September 2021

With in the Egyptian Collegiate Programming Contest "ECPC 2021" that was organized by the Regional Informatics Center (RIC) of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) in cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology during the period from 20 - 28 August 2021, at AASTMT AbuKir Campus, H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag AASTMT President thanks and appreciates AASTMT Regional Informatics Center and all those who participated in the success of the activities of the Egyptian Collegiate Programming Contest "ECPC 2021".

9. The Egyptian Olympiad Informatics (EOI) Competition
2003- Annually

Within the framework of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) to pursue continuous development in all areas, H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President participated in the closing ceremony of the 14th edition of the Egyptian Olympiad in Informatics (EOI) that was held on Friday 1- 10- 2021, at AASTMT New Alamein Campus, in the presence of H. E. Dr. Ghada Labib - Deputy Minister for Institutional Development at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT).

It is worth mentioning that the EOI competition is an annual competition in programming held under the patronage of MCIT and executed by AASTMT.
