Training on managing dialogues and discussions in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and promoting colloquial Arabic -Correcting spelling mistakes that can lead to misunderstanding/ misconception - Studying errors resulting from rendering foreign books without taking into account the Arabic structures.

Objectives

  • The course aims at linking the Arabic language to the students needs and various majors / specializations through ensuring that the course content and session plan are compatible with the students and the communitys needs, capabilities, and aspirations. The course also aims to build up a cultural reservoir for the students that includes various texts representing different fields of knowledge and to train them on text analysis, understanding/ comprehension and summarizing as well as developing their literary skills and promoting their critical thinking in order to be able to write a coherent text taking into account linguistic correctness, accuracy and clarity and the ability to speak Arabic correctly in different situations and contexts.
