Welcome to the College of International Transport and Logistics (CITL). Everyone involved with our college is united by a common desire to make the world a better place. CITL is the professional body for everyone in the logistics, supply chain management, international transport,trade and related industries. It is considered an educational center for logistics excellence in the Middle East and North African regions.

The educational programs in CITL are designed to meet the needs of our international student body, we are truly proud of our diverse student population from Egypt, the Arab countries and Africa. Our programs are constantly updated to meet the modern business needs and professional practice.

In the fields of transport, logistics, supply chain management and trade, there are hundreds of potential career paths. A graduates career path will be largely influenced by his/her skills, interests, and personal decisions. It will also be impacted by the size, type, geographic scope, and organizational structure of the firm s/he chooses to work for.

A logistics graduates career path can focus on a wide variety of functional areas. Some of these include:

Any number of these areas can be combined under the responsibility of a single logistics executive. It is important to realize that not all organizations have a logistics department. Some organizations spread logistics functions across multiple departments. As a result, a graduates career path may weave through marketing, manufacturing, operations, and/or specific product divisions. In these unique situations, the graduate will still perform logistics functions and it may end up as the Vice President of logistics or transport operations or supply chain management.
