International Certificates

International Certificates

1 -General rules

• Number of years should not be less than 12 academic years (or spending three years after passing Preparatory School Certificate).
• Prerequisites qualifying curriculum (courses) of study programs for joining varied specializations.
• Passing obligatory subjects (Arabic, Religion & national education) of the Ministry of Education.
 

General Rules for American Diploma  :

  • 8 Subjects from high school certificate 
  • Minimum of Courses 4 from grade 12
  • Maximum of courses 4 from grade 11
  • Maximum of courses 2 from grade 10
  • All the courses must be equal to 1 credit hour according to the private Council of Egyptian Universities, SAT 1 ACT or EST according to the private Council of Egyptian Universities + SAT 11  ACT 11 or EST 11 ( including Biology ) according to the private Council of Egyptian Universities.
  • The  total equivalent percentage must be equal or more to the percentage decided by the private Council Egyptian Universities.

.College of Maritime and Technology:

  1. IGCSE: 8 “O” Levels with minimum grade “C” + AS or AL (Math or Physics or Chemistry or Biology) with minimum grade “D”.
  2. American Diploma: SAT I ACT or EST according to the regulations of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities + SAT II ACT2 or EST2 according to the regulations of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities.


College of Engineering and Technology:

  1. IGCSE: 8 “O” Levels with minimum grade “C” + AS or AL (Math) with minimum grade “D”.
  2. American Diploma: SAT I ACT or EST according to the regulations of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities + SAT II ACT2 or EST2 (including Math) according to the regulations of the supreme council of Egyptian Universities.


College of Computing and Information Technology:

 

  1. IGCSE: 8 “O” Levels with minimum grade “C” + AS or AL (Math or Physics or Chemistry or Biology) with minimum grade “D”.
  2. American Diploma: SAT I ACT or EST according to the regulations of the supreme council of Egyptian Universities + SAT II ACT2 or EST2 according to the regulations of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities.

College of Fisheries Technology and Aquaculture:

  1. IGCSE: 8 “O” Levels with minimum grade “C” + AS or AL (Math or Physics or Chemistry or Biology) with minimum grade “D”.
  2. American Diploma: SAT I ACT or EST according to the regulations of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities + SAT II ACT2 or EST2 according to the regulations of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities.
     

College of Pharmacy / College of Dentistry/ College of Medicine :

  1.  IGCSE :  8 "O" levels with minimum grade "C" must include Biology /physics / Chemistry / English/ math + any other three courses. The total equivalent percentage must be equal or more to the percentage decided by the private Council of Egyptian Universities.
  2. American Diploma: SAT I ACT or EST according to the regulations of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities + SAT II ACT2 or EST2 according to the regulations of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities.

 

College of Management and Technology:

 

  1. IGCSE: 8 “O” Levels with minimum grade “C”
  2. American Diploma: SAT I ACT or EST according to the regulations of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities.


College of International Transport and Logistics:

  1. IGCSE: 8 “O” Levels with minimum grade “C”
  2. American Diploma: SAT I ACT or EST according to the regulations of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities.


College of Language and Media:

  1. IGCSE: 8 “O” Levels with minimum grad “C”
  2. American Diploma: SAT I ACT or EST according to the regulations of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities.


 Other Foreign Secondary Certificates:

(International Baccalaureate, French Baccalaureate, German Certificates, etc.)

•A numerical evaluation is done according to rules of evaluation of The Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities.
