On the Golden Jubilee of the Academy, the Sports Affairs Department organized the AASTMT Table Tennis Championship, with 53 students from all faculties participating. The new season of sports activity within Egyptian universities and institutes began with the launch of the 50th edition of the Martyr Rifai course, held under the supervision of various officials.

The 10th Dr. Mohamed Ali Hassan Ramadan Tournament for the Academy President's Cup (2022/2023).

The Academy emphasizes the importance of sports in student development and rehabilitation. The Sports Affairs Department holds annual Ramadan courses to attract students and promote competition. The Deanship of Sports Affairs at AASTMT Main Branch, AbuKir Alexandria, announced the launch of the tenth Dr. Mohamed Ali Hassan Ramadan Football Course.

Summer Training Camp for teams participating in the premier league

The summer 2023 training camp for sports teams featured 13 camps, providing distinguished services and facilities like playgrounds, gyms, hotels, and recovery facilities. Over 22 teams from abroad participated, with 1000 athletes and referees from the Alexandria football region. Friendly matches were held for teams camped outside the academy, and recreational trips were made for the teams. Most matches were hosted on the main academy stadium.

Swimming and Football School for the children of academy staff and the surrounding community

The AASTMT President, Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag, and Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Adel Bilal, have initiated a summer school for children of workers and the surrounding community. The school is divided into two parts: swimming in the evenings and all-day games in the mornings.

AASTMT is hosting the Egyptian Youth Students Conference from 8-10 September 2022, the largest engineering event in Egypt. The event brings together engineering influencers from Egyptian universities, including students and graduates. The Sports Affairs Department and Deanship of Student Affairs organized an entertainment and sports day, expressing happiness with the Academy's interest in sports.

Sports Day

The Academy, under the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized a charitable sports day and Rotaract youth creative day for French and English schools in Alexandria, involving various sports and cultural activities. The event was the sixth consecutive year of such events.
