The no-smoking policy at the academy is strict, with smoking completely prohibited in all sports buildings and fields since the academy's establishment. This policy was implemented to ensure the health and safety of everyone and to promote a smoke-free, healthy, and athletic environment.

According to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the Prosperous Life Policy seeks to abolish hunger and poverty while preserving people's health and well-being. In an effort to instill a habit of healthy behavior and community service, it offers AASTMT members a framework and performance metrics to help them meet these objectives. The Deanship of Student Affairs El Alamein Branch announced the start of the 15 in 15 competition to quit smoking, where the student gradually reduces smoking over 15 weeks.

On 28th March 2022, the College of Pharmacy received a scientific symposium on "The harms of smoking and the psychology of addiction" under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Atman, professor of pharmacology at the college.
