In July 2022, The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport college of Medicine signed memorandum of agreements with five Healthcare facilities, national and international, from the health private sector in Alexandria governorate aiming to allow the preclerkship phase students observe the different curative services provided by these facilities.
These agreements were put in action in August 2022 where 130 students out of 180 first year students had 36 hours observership clinical placement in these healthcare facilities.
With the success that training program, the college signed another memorandum of agreement with Alexandria Medical Directorate in October 2022. This agreement will allow students to be exposed to both preventive and curative services provided by the Egyptian Ministry of Health in Alexandria governorate.
