Topics of interest include definitions of Information Systems, functions of information systems, major business functions, types of information systems, the role of information in management problem solving, the role of Information Systems in firms' competitive advantages, internet business models, and E-commerce, it also deals with the factors influence the adoption of inter-organizational systems, the benefits and disadvantages of the virtual office and the virtual organization, the benefits and risks of end-user computing, database management systems.
