This course introduces multimedia security fundamentals, techniques, and protocols. It presents background such as multimedia compression technology and standards. In addition, it explores multimedia cryptography, steganography, watermarking, multimedia authentication and forensics, authentication via biometrics, and digital surveillance and applications. Hands-on experience will be provided through the use of software tools and programming assignments.
