The 4th edition of the "Robotics from Zero to Hero" initiative organized by IEEE AAST SB Alex. A 7-day series of workshops on robotics started on 7th of Jan 2022, and was held on campus at AASTMT, Abu Kir campus. Workshops' content included electronics, Arduino, sensors, motor-drivers, PCB designing & fabrication, mechanical designing with Fusion, as well as a line-follower robot competition for everyone to compete in with the line-follower robots they have built and programmed as teams! Participating teams are qualified to compete in Robocup contest. The course was an ultimate success with 25 amazing students.

The awarding ceremony for IEEE-YESIST12 Prelim participants at IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu Mu Beta Chapter Pilot, and parent-teacher career day was held on campus at AASTMT’s main campus in September 2021. A total of 30 participants, including student, parents and teachers had an on-campus ceremony with three professional talks on STEM careers and a planetarium visit. The career day followed a three-month mentoring stage for participating students from different schools in Alexandria.

A scholarship program for CCNA certification was conducted virtually and awarded to 82 recipients. The program was organized by the IEEE-HKN Mu Beta Chapter, and taught by CCIE certified professional, Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud. The course was conducted over two months with three sessions per week.

Computer Engineering Department, College of Engineering and Technology- Main Campus in partnership with Amazon Web Services, organized the workshop and training sessions entitled: "Amazon Web Services Cloud: The New Normal" in March 2022, as part of a series of certified workshops organized by the department, in partnership with major companies, scientific and community institutions, and the industry sector in the field of developing students’ skills and linking them to the labor market. The workshop was attended by 75 participants, and e-certificates were provided to participants.
