Good Storage Practices Course
The Productivity and Quality Institute - Alexandria - held a course on “Good Storage Practices” for a group of people working in the Pharco Pharmaceuticals group. The course, which was delivered by Dr. Yasser Mekki - Lecturer and consultant on modern practices in pharmaceutical manufacturing - introducing the principles and foundations of good distribution and storage practices for preparations and how to preserve them from the penetration of the supply chains of low-quality and counterfeit products that pose a real threat to public health and safety, and learning about legislation and regulations related to the same matter.
Workshop on “Managing Medical Errors - How to Prevent and Manage Them” Directorate of Health – Beheira
Based on the pioneering role of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in continuous support of the medical sector. The Business Development Department - Productivity and Quality Institute - under the auspices of Professor Dr. Hani Alla - First Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Beheira - and in cooperation with the Training and Quality Management Department of the Beheira Health Directorate, organized a workshop entitled “Managing Medical Errors - How to Prevent and Manage Them”
The workshop, which was delivered by Dr. Abdullah Ibrahim - lecturer at the Arab Academy, dealt with patient safety, how to manage medical errors, their causes, ways to prevent them, and methods that can be followed in hospitals and agencies as vital initiatives to work on patient safety to be a basic foundation for distinguished medical services.
Professor Dr. Hani Jomah - Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Beheira - was keen to welcome the distinguished doctors lecturing at the academy and the attending hospital department directors, including doctors and nurses, and spoke about the importance of training and the importance of providing a safe environment for the patient.
