The Port Training Institute is pleased to announce the implementation of a workshop titled "The Impact of Climate Change on Maritime Ports: Challenges and Solutions." This workshop will be conducted both in-person and remotely, and it is free to attend.
The workshop aims to develop and enhance participants' abilities to address the urgent need to tackle climate change. It necessitates the establishment of systems that rely on modern technology to study and analyze the risks of climate change on economic assets and ongoing or future projects. This includes maritime ports, logistics infrastructure, and the creation of systems to mitigate climate change risks to safeguard investments. Additionally, the workshop will focus on raising awareness and providing training to facilitate effective utilization of these systems. The workshop is scheduled to take place on Monday, October 31, 2022.
This workshop is designed to address and improve the efficiency of both ports and container terminals. It aims to provide participants with insights, strategies, and practical knowledge to enhance the performance of these critical elements in the logistics and maritime industry. The workshop will cover various aspects, including optimizing cargo handling, streamlining operations, utilizing advanced technology, and implementing best practices to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of goods through ports and container terminals. Participants will gain valuable insights and tools to help them overcome challenges and make positive contributions to the overall effectiveness of these vital components of global trade and transportation. .
