Industry Service Center Fully Funded Training
The Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport, in collaboration with TCi Semar Company, is pleased to announce the third phase of the company's training program through the Industry Service Center in Port Said. We are offering a fully-funded training scholarship for 90 trainees in Port Said Governorate. The program will be conducted at the Industry Service Center, Port Said branch.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be graduates of technical education at all levels.
Applicants' age should be between 20 and 30 years.
Successful completion of a personal interview is required.

Container Terminals Automation Program
In the context of the exceptional collaboration between the Port Training Institute and the Marseille Port Authority in France, we are pleased to announce the implementation of a diploma program titled "Container Terminals Automation." This diploma program aligns with the Port Training Institute's commitment to staying abreast of developments in human resource development within ports and container handling stations. This program is designed to equip participants with skills in modern techniques for planning container terminals, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and increasing productivity in container terminals.
The diploma program spans two weeks, with the first week conducted online through the Port Training Institute. The second week involves physical attendance at the Marseille Port in France. The program will commence from January 4 to 8, 2022, online from the institute in Alexandria, and from January 10 to 14, 2022, with in-person attendance at the Marseille Port in France. The diploma program will be delivered by a number of experts in this field from both Egypt and France.
Green Hydrogen, the Trends program
In collaboration with the Valencia Port Authority in Spain, PTI is pleased to announce the execution of a diploma program titled "Green Hydrogen, the Trends, the Future – Charting the way forward towards a Global Sustainable Shipping Fleets & Ports."
The program will commence from June 26 to June 30, 2022, conducted through online training. The diploma program involves three hours of daily sessions with breaks and offers discussions and questions during the course. Expert speakers from both Egypt and Valencia will lead this diploma program.
Network and Information Security and Cyber Security program
This online training program is offered by the Port Training Institute in collaboration with the global company Fortinet. This program focuses on building effective defense mechanisms against cyberattacks. Participants will acquire knowledge on various methods to secure network and information security for various operations and services. Notably, Fortinet is a global leader in network security, information security, and cybersecurity.
The program duration is 10 days over two weeks, with an optional exam on the last day for a certified certificate from Fortinet at no extra cost. The training will commence from Sunday, November 27, until December 8, 2022. It consists of 50 hours, with five hours of daily classes
Total Quality Management Course
The Institute of Productivity and Quality - the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport - held a "Total Quality Management" course for a group of employees of the Misr Cables Company on September 2021. The session delivered by Dr. Yasser Abdel Muttalib - Quality Management Systems Consultant - provided the trainees with the skills and tools necessary to implement the concept of total quality management and to identify the total quality system and its impact on the success of companies in achieving competitiveness. In light of competition at the regional and international levels.
Professional Diploma in Food Safety
The Institute of Productivity and Quality - Alexandria - witnessed the handing over of graduation certificates to the first group in the “Professional Diploma in Food Safety” in the presence of Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdel Wahed Abdel Bary - Vice President of the Academy for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research and Dr. Ghada Hussein - Head of the Veterinarians Syndicate in Alexandria. And Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ayyad - Director of the Medical Examinations Laboratory at Customs and Dr. Mohamed Hassan Abd Rabbo - Dean of the Institute of Productivity and Quality. It is worth noting that the professional diploma in food safety is accredited by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. The duration of the study is nine months and the diploma aims to develop the skills of workers in the field. Food safety and providing them with the professional skills that must be available to those working as experts in the field of food industries, with a focus on the role of monitoring and inspection of food safety and quality.
6 Sigma Course
The “Six Sigma” course will be held at the headquarters of the Institute of Productivity and Quality - Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport - Alexandria. The course, which is lectured by Eng. Mohamed Mansour - Certified International Lecturer - explains how to identify aspects of improvement for projects with the aim of increasing customer satisfaction, improving production processes, reducing and controlling ineffective processes, identifying and eliminating the causes of defects, which leads to significant gains for organizations. The “Training of Trainers” course was held at the Institute of Productivity and Quality - Alexandria, for a distinguished group of gentlemen working in various industrial and service sectors. The course delivered by Dr. Ibrahim Rustom - Lecturer and Head of the Training Department at the Productivity and Quality Institute - introducing the trainees and qualifying them scientifically and skillfully and providing them with the necessary experience to work as professional trainers in their fields of work and how to remove the psychological barriers that the trainer is exposed to at the beginning of his work and how they can be overcome.

Professional Diploma in Food Quality and Safety
The first lecture was held at the headquarters of the Arab Academy for Science September 2021, Technology and Maritime Transport by Prof. Dr. Amr Abdel Moamen Amer - Professor of Food Hygiene Control - Alexandria University - entitled "Module 1: GMPs & PRPs" Which comes within the framework of the launch of the "Professional Diploma in Food Quality and Safety" program in cooperation between the Institute of Productivity and Quality at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, the Syndicate of Veterinarians in Alexandria and the Food Health Research Laboratory. Refrigeration and air conditioning Workshop
The course aims to train the trainee on the latest scientific findings in this field, as well as on periodic maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning devices, detecting faults and how to deal with them, and maintaining the efficiency of devices in this field in the form of practical training. In addition to providing the trainee with all theoretical information related to cooling and air conditioning systems.
