The 31st International Conference on Computer Theory and Applications (ICCTA 2021) was held during the period from 11 - 13 December 2021, at AASTMT Abukir Campus (Hall of Arab Ministers of Transport) - Alexandria, as a hybrid (Physical/Virtual) conference.
ICCTA 2021 was organized by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) in cooperation with the Computer Scientific Society (CSS) and the technical co-sponsorship of IEEE Alexandria subsection, as ICCTA 2021 is an international conference that serves as a multi-disciplinary forum for the exchange of information on research, development, and applications of all topics related to computer theory and its applications, as it gives the opportunities to the researchers, specialists and vendors of Information Technology to get together and exchange ideas and expertise.

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) and Malaysia Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) organized the sixth international conference on Advanced Technology and Applied Sciences (ICaTAS 2021), that will be held during the period from 12 - 14 October 2021.
The conference will highlight the recent and significant advances in research and development in advanced technology, applied sciences, and interdisciplinary works, as to encourage young researchers from multi-discipline engineering backgrounds to share their new and innovative ideas with the participation of a large number of young researchers.

H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag – President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) participated in the activities of the Fourth Edition of the Arab Week for Sustainable Development that was organized by the League of Arab States, the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development in Egypt, the United Nations, the European Union and the World Bank, during the period from 13 - 15 February 2022, under the theme "Together for Sustainable Recovery", as to probe ways of alleviating repercussions and negative impacts of coronavirus to help achieve sustainable development goals in Arab countries.

Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) consolidations for the bonds of continuous cooperation with the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development (EAPD) of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, AASTMT African and Asian Affairs Sector and EAPD organized the "Eighth African Development Senior Managers Forum" that entitled: “Developing Human Resources Competencies in Seaports and Logistics Sector”. The forum will be held During 27 - 31 March 2022, at AASTMT AbuKir Campus in Alexandria, in the presence of the decision makers in the field of transport sector from various African countries, and a group of AASTMT Officials.

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) announces the opening of the 11th International Maritime and Logistics conference (MARLOG 2022) that is held under the auspices of H.E Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit - Secretary General of the League of Arab States, and H.E Lieutenant-General Kamel ElWazir - Egyptian Minister of transportation, during 20 – 22 March 2022, at Hilton Green Plaza Hotel – Alexandria, and entitled “Towards a Sustainable Blue Economy”, as MARLOG 2022 is organized by AASTMT in cooperation with Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone), the International Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH), MEDPorts Association, the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), Valenciaport Foundation for Research, Promotion and Commercial Studies of the Valencian region (Valenciaport Foundation), Antwerp/Flanders Port Training Center, and Global Shipping Think Tank Alliance, as the conference will shed light on the sustainable Blue economy as well as the related activities which have effects on maritime transport and logistics. In this regard, the activities of the second camp will be held with the participation of Mr. Sergio Castano and Mrs. Anna Lagora, specialists in global supply chains, in addition to a number of experts in the field of logistics and maritime transport, economic experts from Egypt and France, and a number of board chairmen of international companies working in Egypt to present their companies experiences and success stories over the past years as to be the leaders and decision makers in light of facing the challenges of the global supply chains.
