The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) El Alamein Campus inaugurated the book fair that is organized by AASTMT Libraries and Information Services Center on Sunday 26- 12- 2021, with the participation of the largest publishing houses, such as: Iqraa Establishment For Publishing & Distribution, Al-Ahram Distribution Agency and the Academic BookShop Company, where the book fair aims to encourage students and researchers to gain knowledge, learn, add to their experience and broaden their horizons. It is worth mentioning that the book fair will take place for three days, as it includes a large collection of scientific books in various disciplines that fit AASTMT Colleges of El Alamein Campus, as there are books in the fields of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, artificial intelligence, accounting and technology, and general knowledge. The book fair was held with the participation of a large number of AASTMT Al Alamein Campus students, staff members and Officials.

AASTMT established the first Regional Informatics Center (RIC) in the Middle East and North Africa RIC is a division of the Arab Academy for Science and Technology founded in 2001 and located in Alexandria, Egypt. The Academy is aware that this new century has brought with it enormous revolutionary changes and developments in all field of human knowledge specifically the field of informatics. The idea of establishing the Regional Informatics Center (RIC) originated from the desire to catch up with the amazing development in this field, to help in promoting the minds and talents of the AAST students, and the necessity of creating a broad base of distinguished students who can catch up with the increasing acceleration in the development of Informatics and Robotics worldwide. The Arab Academy for Science and Technology through its Regional Informatics center is the Headquarter for the ICPC Foundation Competitions for University students in Africa and Arab Countries hosting and organizing the national competitions under ministry of education and telecommunication in every country.

Is an international initiative aiming to promote informatics and computational thinking among school students at all ages. It is organized in over 50 countries (3 million participants) and designed to get all students excited about computing. Each participant gets 45 minutes to answer 12 questions that focus on logical thinking and computing.

Is the biggest programming contest for school students since 2003 under the patronage of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology and Arab Academy for Science and Technology. The contests are hosted by AASTMT every year. Egyptian Olympiad in Informatics (EOI) that was held on Friday 1- 10- 2021, at AASTMT New Alamein Campus, in the presence of H. E. Dr. Ghada Labib - Deputy Minister for Institutional Development at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT). It is worth mentioning that the EOI competition is an annual competition in programming held under the patronage of MCIT and executed by AASTMT.

(Egypt Collegiate Programming Contest) and ACPC (Arab & African Collegiate Programming Contest) programming contest. The contest fosters creativity, teamwork, and innovation in building new software programs, and enables students from different universities in Egypt and Arab region to test their ability to perform under pressure. Quite simply, it is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious programming contest in the world. The contests are hosted by AASTMT every year. "ECPC 2022" was organized by the Regional Informatics Center (RIC) of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) in cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, was held on Saturday 27- 8- 2022, at AASTMT AbuKir Campus. The ECPC is one of the oldest and most prestigious competition on problem solving and programming in Egypt, as it is a part of the ACPC "Africa and Arab Collegiate Programming Championship".

On the occasion of the opening of the historic Rams Road in Luxor, this archaeological edifice that will make Luxor a museum open to the world, and a witness to the greatness and nobility of the Egyptian civilization that spanned over thousands of years and its civilizational radiance was reflected in various parts of the world, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) congratulates the political leadership and The Egyptians on the occasion of the opening of the Rams Road that shows Egypt’s eternal civilization greatness and its impressive heritage. In this regard, AASTMT is organizing the Africa and Arab Collegiate Programming Championship (ACPC 2021), in cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, during the period from 3 - 7 December 2021, in Luxor. It is worth mentioning that the Africa and Arab Collegiate Programming Championship (ACPC) is a qualifying round for the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC). ACPC is organized in the same spirit and is governed by all applicable rules of the ICPC. Winners of an ACPC contest qualify to the ICPC World Finals. An ACPC Regional Contest is normally held during November - December of each year, whereas the ICPC World Final is held in March - April of the following year.

Which is a Competition is made for building new generations of Arab Rovers to make university and school students compete in design and build ROV or underwater robot to achieve mission underwater, which is simulation to real mission. MATE EGYPT ROV - 10th Edition (April 2022) was held in Abi Qir branch from June 2-5, 2022 with the participation of 22 teams from various universities in Egypt, focusing on remotely operated underwater vehicles, found a home at AASTMT. This event promotes exploration and innovation in underwater technology, showcasing the potential of robotics in maritime applications.

It was founded in 1997 with the main goal of “developing by 2050 a Robot Soccer team capable of winning against the human team champion of the FIFA World Cup”. In the next years, RoboCup proposed several soccer platforms that have been established as standard platforms for robotics research. RoboCup Junior is a project- oriented educational initiative that supports local, regional, and international robotic events for young students. It is designed to introduce RoboCup to primary and secondary school children, as well as undergraduates who do not have the resources to get involved in the senior leagues. The focus in the junior league is on education.

Within AASTMT keenness on the distinction of its educational service as the continuous improvement and efficient performance of AASTMT educational quality to achieve the graduation of highly efficient cadres that enrich the labor market as to ensure the public confidence, H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President welcomed AASTMT College of Engineering and Technology students who won the first place and the best video during the World RoboCup 2022, and AASTMT El Alamein Campus College of Artificial Intelligence students who won the fifth place after a strong competition with a number of teams from different world universities, as a part of RoboCup 2022 competition that was held in Bangkok - Thailand, during the period from 10 - 16 July 2022.
AASTMT President and AASTMT students meeting was held on Sunday 31- 7- 2022, at AASTMT AbuKir Campus, in the presence of AASTMT Officials, as His Excellency praise the students’ great efforts and results during the competition that is considered to be the leading pioneering international scientific gathering that aims to develop the latest technologies of intelligent robotics and artificial intelligence. The competition tackles various challenges, including the RoboCup Junior for school students and the RoboCup@Home for universities students, where RoboCup 2022 was held with the participation of about 40 countries, including 4 qualified teams from Egypt (two teams from school students - two teams from university students).
