Within the framework of cooperation between the College of Engineering and Technology and the College of International Transport and Logistics in achieving the goals of the academy’s strategic plan for community service and environmental development, which focuses on developing the capabilities of graduates and preparing them for the labor market, the Energy Research Unit at the College of Engineering, in cooperation with the Department of Energy Logistics at the College of International Transport and Logistics, organized a course Accredited for graduate students, young engineers, and emerging companies (small or medium) in the field of designing and operating solar cell stations as one of the outputs of the European Union project MAIA-TAQA. The course was organized in May 2022, and certificates of completion were given to all participants.

Amazon Web Services for Cloud Platforms Training Workshop
Computer Engineering Department – College of Engineering and Technology in Alexandria - in partnership with the global company Amazon Web Services for Cloud Platforms, organized a Certified training workshop AWS Training Workshop on Monday, 4th July 2022, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Titled: " *Get Ready for Model Application Development* " and “*Become a Cloud DevOps Engineer* ". The training included many tracks related to the use of high-speed cloud computing servers during practical applications. As well as skills in using software used in building interactive applications. And applications related to storage and data transfer services, website programming, design of systems related to cloud computers, and data analysis. To activate infrastructure at scale and deliver applications and services at high speed, an essential skill for advancing in a career. This training was available to all students interested in this field to all universities and had 200 participants. All were given certificates of completion after completing the training workshop.

A two-day hands-on snap circuit electronics workshop with certificates for 8-12 years pre-university students was held in February 2022 with 15 participants. The students were introduced to the importance of electronics and electronic components in various modern technologies with examples. They also had various hands-on projects to work on using snap circuits. The workshop was organized by the award-winning STEM outreach program dedicated to pre-university at AASTMT, Mu Beta Kidzineers. The workshop was supported by IEEE Region 8 and IEEE STEM champion programs.

A two-day Arduino hands-on Smart Home certified workshop was held in March 2022 as a part of the annual Arduino celebrations. This event is organized annually in different parts of the world. This workshop is held annually as a part of Arduino week/day celebrations on campus. The 2022 workshop edition had 20 participants and was held under the theme of smart-homes using Arduino.
