Plastic Waste (126 Tons – 8 Ton Reduction):

This year, the Academy generated 126 metric tons of plastic waste across all branches, representing a reduction of 8 tons (approximately 6.0%) compared to last year's 134 tons. This reduction reflects the successful implementation of comprehensive plastic reduction policies, including the phaseout of singleuse plastics, the promotion of reusable alternatives, and enhanced recycling initiatives.

Paper Waste (124 Tons – 11 Ton Reduction):

This year, the Academy generated 124 metric tons of paper waste across all branches, representing a reduction of 11 tons (approximately 8.1%) compared to last year's 135 tons. This significant decrease demonstrates the effectiveness of AASTMT's digital transformation initiatives, including the adoption of digital administration systems, elearning platforms, and paperless communication practices.

Combined Reduction: 19 Tons (7.1% Decrease)

The total reduction of 19 tons (8 tons plastic + 11 tons paper) represents a 7.1% decrease in combined paper and plastic waste generation compared to the previous year. This achievement underscores the Academy's leadership in sustainable waste management within the higher education sector.
