1.Arab Rally Competition for Entrepreneurship & Innovation

Arab Rally Competition for Entrepreneurship & Innovation is one of the largest entrepreneurship & Innovation competitions that gathers, inspires, develops, and mentors’ university students to help them develop innovative startup ideas, and turn their ideas into a real-life business and experience. This competition helps youth to become entrepreneurs from a young age, and learn about the entrepreneurship & Innovation culture and its wide ecosystem.
Arab Entrepreneurship & Innovation Rally 2021-2022
Under the patronage of the League of Arab States, the 2nd Rally edition will be held at Dubai Expo 2020 jointly by the Union of Arab Chambers, Arab Academy’s Entrepreneurship Center, UNIDO ITPO / AICEI Bahrain, and the support of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce.
22 Teams from University students (Technology Track) and top 3 startups teams (Spin–Offs Track) from 22 Arab Countries will get the opportunity to compete in Rally with their innovative and technological startup ideas. The focus will be to attract influencers from the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Ecosystem, capacity building, and engage with university students and startups in all Arab countries.
2.Egypt Rally startup competition
2016 - Annually
Egypt Rally startup competition is a full program that focuses on university students who are eager to develop their ideas to real business model and focuses on established startups to help them in boosting their startups.
The program includes capacity building, pre-incubation training, one to one mentorship for startups, access to online entrepreneurship content via our Startup School, success stories and networking events in addition to financial cash awards.
In partnership with the National Bank of Egypt, we celebrated the finale of Egypt Rally Competition in the STARTUP FESTIVAL that was held in the beautiful Sharm ELSheikh City, March 2021. with participation of more than 120 startup and potential startups from 10 partner universities. Competition was targeting two different stakeholders: university Students with technological innovations and also targeting running startups focused on Industrial innovation and Tourism related startups.
Startups had a great value and exposure as they had the opportunity to pitch by the sea in front of high profile judges, exhibition spaces to showcase their startups, match making and investments chances, panel discussions and roundtables.

4.Huawei ICT Competition Egypt,An international competition and Exchange Platform

The Huawei ICT Competition is intended for students in Huawei ICT academies and those in higher education institutions that are willing to join the ICT Academy worldwide. Through this competition, Huawei aims to provide students with a platform to compete healthily and exchange ideas, thus enhancing their ICT knowledge and practical skills as well as increasing their ability to innovate by using new technologies and platforms. Since the first edition in 2015, the Huawei ICT Competition's influence has only kept growing. The 6th Huawei ICT Competition is currently underway, and it has attracted 150,000 students from over 2,000 universities and colleges across 85 countries and regions.
5.MATE Egypt Regional ROV Competition 2021,Organized by Regional Informatics Center- RIC

MATE Egypt ROV competition is an annual regional competition held in the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), for the interested undergrads remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROV). As the ROVs perform specific underwater missions according to the rules and the competition guidelines. Our mission is To help preparing future workforce to conquer the oceans, as Egypt ROV The competition attracts the undergrads from different ages of the primary education to university education to be categorized into two main classes of the competition (Explorer class – Ranger class) where participant teams enjoy a competitive work environment to create and innovate.
6. Autonomous Driving Vehicles- ADV
September 2021
The ADV League is an open-source competition and includes a series of tasks of increasing complexity.ADV is the first competition in Egypt for teams developing self-driving for autonomous vehicles. ADV will take place in November 2021 and consist of 3 tasks with 2 trials in each challenge.
Task1 Each team will be able to run 2 rounds on a map with lanes and dimensions 30cm, where your team needs to follow a lane for the longest distance in the best time.
Task2 Teams will be able to run 2 rounds on a map with lanes and obstacles that they need to avoid.
Task3 Your team will be able to run 2 trials following a lane with the presence of another vehicle â€robotâ€.
7. African Arab Programming Championship ACPC, Luxor - Egypt 2021
September 2021
The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport organized the activities of the African Arab Software Championship competition, which was held in Luxor, in the presence of His Excellency Dr.Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag, President of The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, Transport, and Dr. Mohamed Mahjoub, President of Luxor University. The tournament includes 12 Arab and African countries with a group of 150 teams representing 60 universities Among the most prominent participating countries are Egypt, Kuwait, Jordan, Syria, Tunisia, Lebanon, and other African and Arab countries.

The winning teams will qualify to participate in the international software competition, which will be hosted this year in the Russian capital, Moscow, with the participation of more than 25,000 contestants, representing 2,300 universities from around the world.
8.Robocup Competition Egypt
1997 (Annually - Current)
RoboCup was founded in 1997 with the main goal of “developing by 2050 a Robot Soccer team capable of winning against the human team champion of the FIFA World Cupâ€. In the next years, RoboCup proposed several soccer platforms that have been established as standard platforms for robotics research.RoboCup Junior is a project-oriented educational initiative that supports local, regional, and international robotic events for young students. It is designed to introduce RoboCup to primary and secondary school children, as well as undergraduates who do not have the resources to get involved in the senior leagues.
9. Nawah competition
2019 - 2020
Within the framework of the existing work system between the Center for Entrepreneurship, ILO, the International Labor Organization, and the Middle East Council for Small Enterprises and Entrepreneurship (MCSBE).The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport sponsored the "Nawat competition, which is a preliminary competition to attend the Egypt Entrepreneurship Summit 2020, and provides an opportunity for young entrepreneurs who have qualified for the finals to obtain training to develop their skills, in addition to the opportunity to win financial prizes of up to 250 thousand pounds and post-programming programs Contest ends.For the sixth year in a row, the Nawah competition is working to support idea owners and startups that they develop their ideas, implement them effectively and grow them!Nawah is an integrated competition that will help you to develop your idea / startup company during the competition period and after it through mentoring and mentorship programs in addition to financial prizes.
10. Egypt's Youth Skills Competition
September 2021
Due to the importance of the industrial sector to advance the development and economic renaissance of Arab societies, especially Egypt. The Academy's Industrial Service Complex held five forums entitled "Technical Education and a Course in Meeting the Needs of Industry" under the slogan "Technology is the locomotive of development" in its first year in the presence and patronage of the Minister of Technical Education and under the slogan "Technology and Community Outlook" in its second year in line with Egypt's Vision 2030 and under the patronage of the President of the Republic and under the slogan - Our Revolution is a Labor Revolution - The third forum was held in the form of several events: (Egypt's First Youth Skills Competition - Workshops containing panel discussions The fourth forum was also held in partnership with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) under the slogan "We are all built by it" and through which the second Egyptian Youth Skills Competition was held. The forum, in its fifth year, was held under the slogan "a dream to come true" in September 2021 and held the finals of the third Egyptian youth skills competition.
Sponsors play a vital role in supporting the Forum's activities, which is an important indicator of the impact of the Forum and the interest of the industrial sector in the issue of technical education and there are many sponsorship opportunities in the Forum.
