G1.2020 Grant Call for Collaboration Research and Innovation Project
BACKGROUND OF THE AASTMT GRANT CALL
To contribute to the aspirations of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) becoming a model regional university, recognized for high-quality education, research, training, and consultancy, AASTMT takes a leading role in creating the environment and the tools to foster excellence in research. In this spirit, AASTMT&rsquos vision places equal emphasis on teaching and research and serves researchers by providing full support and effective administrative expertise to AASTMT&rsquos research community. Therefore, AASTMT is launching the third call for funding opportunities to assist researchers'' endeavors to develop projects that serve their own progress and that of the AASTMT and the national and regional states. This call provides opportunities for researchers at all levels, from students to professionals, in the private, public, and academic sectors. The AASTMT grant is one of the scientific research activities and the primary means by which AASTMT addresses research strategy and key national needs. This call for proposals for AASTMT&rsquos Innovation Research Grants (IRG) is organized and managed for the benefit of the Innovation Hub in Al-Alamein Smart Campus, to which all the grant''s outcomes and deliverables will be transferred.

G2.Grant Entrepreneurship Center and Industrial Modernisation Center IMC
2021 - 2022
In continuation of the ongoing cooperation between The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Technology and the supporting authorities within the Arab Republic of Egypt, a Grant of 100.000 EURO, provided by The Industrial Modernization Center representing the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Small Industries to the Entrepreneurship Center representing the Arab Academy academy, and the grant is provided for the Entrepreneurship Rally Egypt program.

G3.Grant Project #2068 Campus Smart Recycling System (CSRS) AASTMT Industry Service Forum

A long-term research collaboration between AASTMT researchers and regional research institutions through open competition to promote multi-disciplinary collaborative research and development (R&D) projects within AASTMT.
Project 2068, Campus Smart Recycling System (CSRS) 
The project is about build and implement sustainable self-sufficient recycling system to turn AASTMT campus food organic wastes and recyclables into valuable products that have economical values, which can be used to reduce the campus running expanses. The proposed system istargetingonly3 types of campus wastes (Organic food remains-Plastic tableware-aluminum cans).

G4.Grant Project #2069 Campus Smart Recycling System (CSRS) AASTMT Industry Service Forum
A long-term research collaboration between AASTMT researchers and regional research institutions through open competition to promote multi-disciplinary collaborative research and development (R&D) projects within AASTMT.
Project 2069, Design and Implementation of a Mobile Ventilator (DIMV) 
Project objective is to design and implement a mobile ventilator prototype that will allow the manufacturing of a reduced-price ventilator to be used in AASTMT clinics and in public hospitals.

G6.Grant for 50.000EGP university students and potential entrepreneurs -Entrepreneurship Center
2021-2022
Through the partnership between the National Bank of Egypt and AAST’ Entrepreneurship Center, it was held an launching online event for 50.000 Training Grant on Innovation and Entrepreneurship, targeting university students and potential entrepreneurs, under the auspices of the League of Arab States and in the presence of the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States and the Egyptian Ministers of Trade and Industry, Higher Education, Youth and Sports, and the President of the National Bank of Egypt.

A new Corporation with Google Foundation with the Entrepreneurship Center in the Arab Academy, for Science and Technology with total fund 100.000€ .The Fund cover a training professional program provided and organized from Entrepreneurship center to the Entrepreneurs inside the Arab Republic of Egypt, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.

A grant provided by a Federation of Egyptian-European business associations CEEBA, with a total amount 40.000€ in the field of supporting entrepreneurs and specialized incubators.The Grant cover training sessions and mentorship for the startups in various programs at the Entrepreneurship Center.

G9.Grants Entrepreneurship Center and The National Bank of Egypt - Egypt Entrepreneurship Rally competition
2020-2022
A Grant provided by The National Bank of Egypt, during the signing memorandum of understanding with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport to support, finance and build the capacities of young people, entrepreneurs and innovators with the aim of establishing start-up companies. To support emerging projects and entrepreneurs, and the Egypt Entrepreneurship Rally competitions.The Grant includes sponsorship of National Bank of Egypt as the main partner for all events of the entrepreneurship competition Egypt Rally during its current and upcoming years, with total amount 5 Million Egypt Pound.

Incubator for Agri-Business and creative industries in AswanFund provided by the African Development Bank, with a total amount 170.000€, to establish an incubator for Agri-Business and creative industries in Aswan - MASAAR Aswan is implemented by Enroot Development in cooperation with AAST Entrepreneurship Center and The Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research-ASRT and funded by DROSOS FOUNDATION, MASAAR is a sector focused incubation program in the Agribusiness and handcrafts sectors.

Contribution of businessmen by providing a grant from the Baseti Foundation for 10 students to study at the Institute of Technical and Vocational Studies in the Industry Service Complex and to obtain a technical diploma in the mechanics and mechatronics programs.

Project "Water Rescue Robot" won 17,000 EGP fund in 2021/2022 EGPS-312.
