Obesity is a major global health challenge, affecting over one billion individuals and contributing to millions of preventable deaths annually. Despite the availability of effective GLP1–based pharmacotherapies, individualized drug selection in clinical practice remains complex and resourceintensive. This project aimed to develop GLPSelect AI, an artificial intelligence–based clinical assistant designed to support personalized obesity management using injectable incretin therapies. Built using Gemini Custom Gems, GLPSelect AI analyzes patient-specific clinical data to generate evidencebased treatment recommendations for four approved GLP1 agents: tirzepatide, semaglutide (Wegovy® and Ozempic®), and liraglutide (Saxenda®). The system integrates comprehensive data from clinical trials, including efficacy, dosing, safety, tolerability, comorbidity impact, and key precautions. By enabling personalized therapy selection, GLPSelect AI promotes sustainable healthcare practices through improved treatment efficiency, reduced trialanderror prescribing, optimized medication use, and better longterm patient outcomes.
