AquaVET is organised into five work packages (WP1–WP5). Below is the public summary of each WP with its planned timing.
Month mapping: M1 = Oct 2024, M6 = Mar 2025, M7 = Apr 2025, M12 = Sep 2025, M13 = Oct 2025, M30 = Mar 2027, M36 = Sep 2027.
WP1 — Preparation and baseline setup (M1–M6 | Oct 2024–Mar 2025)
Purpose: Establish the project foundation through baseline surveys, administrative readiness (approvals), and initial project media and planning.
Expected outputs (public summary):
- Surveys and analysis to understand educational needs and market expectations.
- Identification of required approvals and permits.
- Registration and launch of project media (website + social media accounts).
- Initial project timeline, training plan, and management tools.
WP2 — Curriculum / learning materials / capacity building (M7–M30 | Apr 2025–Mar 2027)
Purpose: Develop and implement competence framework, curriculum structure, learning materials, training sessions, and mobility activities.
Expected outputs (public summary):
- Competence framework for the programme and graduate profile.
- Curriculum and learning materials package.
- Equipment lists (as needed for implementation).
- Training sessions and workshops (planned in multiple cycles).
- Student/staff mobility activities with documented outcomes.
- Revised curriculum/materials based on feedback and evaluation.
WP3 — Quality assurance, monitoring and evaluation (M7–M36 | Apr 2025–Sep 2027)
Purpose: Maintain quality through evaluation planning, monitoring methods, data collection approaches, periodic evaluation reports, and implementation standards.
Expected outputs (public summary):
- Quality assurance and evaluation plan.
- Monitoring and evaluation methods and tools.
- Data collection and analysis methods.
- Evaluation and monitoring reports across the project lifecycle.
- Standards and guidelines supporting project compliance and quality.
WP4 — Dissemination, communication, events and sustainability (M13–M36 | Oct 2025–Sep 2027)
Purpose: Disseminate project progress and results through communication channels, events, promotional materials, reporting of outcomes, and sustainability planning.
Expected outputs (public summary):
- Dissemination plan and strategy.
- Updated project website and social media platforms with regular project updates.
- Events and workshops showcasing progress and outcomes.
- Promotional materials and media content (brochure, infographics, videos, presentations).
- Project results and outcomes report.
- Sustainability plan and end conference proceedings.
WP5 — Project management, coordination and reporting (M1–M36 | Oct 2024–Sep 2027)
Purpose: Ensure strong governance and coordination through risk management, detailed management planning, communication protocols, meetings, and reporting.
Expected outputs (public summary):
- Updated risk assessment and mitigation planning.
- Detailed project management plan and timeline.
- Roles and responsibilities matrix.
- Quarterly/annual progress reporting.
- Meeting planning and documentation (in-person and online).
- Collaboration and communication plan and online platform/resource management.
