AquaVET (Project 101179739) is an Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education project (ERASMUS-EDU-2024-CBHE). The project promotes knowledge exchange and collaboration to strengthen aquatic animal medicine and ecosystem health education and training across partner regions.
Project objectives
AquaVET aims to:
- Strengthen competence development and education relevant to aquatic animal medicine and ecosystem health.
- Build capacity for high-quality teaching and training through shared methods, materials, and staff development.
- Support collaboration between higher education institutions and relevant sector stakeholders.
- Disseminate project outcomes through coordinated outreach, events, and communication channels
Project approach
The project is implemented through coordinated work packages that cover:
- Early preparation and baseline assessment (surveys, approvals, project media launch and planning).
- Development and implementation of competence frameworks, curriculum and learning materials.
- Quality assurance, monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
- Dissemination, outreach, events, and sustainability planning.
- Overall management, communication, and reporting.
