The Egyptian Chamber of Commerce in Alexandria held the workshop to train trainers on innovation in cooperation with the European Union, within the framework of the activities of the TECHLOG project.
The workshop was presented by Paula Baltar, Project Manager at Escola Europea, and Josep Miro, Trainer from NextStopLabs.
TECHLOG - "Technological Transfer of Logistics Innovation in the Mediterranean Region" is a strategic project funded by the European Union ENI CBC Med and aims to strengthen relations between research and industry by facilitating technology transfer, the ultimate goal is to contribute to the expansion and modernization of transport economies in the Mediterranean.
The duration of the project is 30 months, with a total budget of €3.4 million, of which €3.1 million is funded by the European Union 90%
The project partners are the University of Cagliari from Italy as main partner, the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Agriculture of Maremma and Tirino (Italy), the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (Egypt), the European School of Short Shipping, EEIG (Spain), and the Federation of Egyptian-European Business Associations (Egypt). ), the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Beirut and Mount Lebanon (Lebanon), the Sfax Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Tunisia), and the SFAX University (Tunisia)
