Biography

Dato' Stephen Cheah Kim Seng aka Dato’ Steve Cheah is a seasoned entrepreneurship education ecosystem enabler and advisor with decades of international business experience, having lived and worked in Malaysia, England, Hong Kong, Myanmar, and Thailand.

He serves as a board member and advisor to various business chambers, educational institutions, corporations, and international organizations that are involved in commercial, educational, and community projects. He actively engages in initiatives that promote the globalization of startups, businesses, and SMEs and is frequently invited to speak at international events, including those hosted at the United Nations.

He chairs the UNESCO Entrepreneurship Education Network (EE-Net) Thailand National Chapter and the Diplomatic Council’s Think Tank and Steering Committee on Innovation, Sustainability, Entrepreneurship, and Education (DCISE), a non-governmental organization with special consultative status with the United Nations (ECOSOC), with Observer status at UNESCAP in Bangkok.
Through his diverse roles, Dato' Steve Cheah is committed to enhancing the entrepreneurship ecosystem by overseeing national and international projects that foster collaboration and innovation across sectors.
