The Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT) has long been recognized as a pioneering institution in higher education, particularly in the fields of science, engineering, and technology. In line with the Academy’s vision to prepare highly qualified graduates capable of contributing to national and regional development, the Computer Engineering Department was established at the College of Engineering, Heliopolis Campus to meet the growing demand for expertise in computing and digital systems.
From its inception, the department has been committed to providing a comprehensive education in computer engineering, combining solid theoretical foundations with hands-on training in hardware, software, and emerging technologies. Its academic programs were designed to align with international standards, equipping students with the skills needed to excel in industries such as information technology, artificial intelligence, embedded systems, and cybersecurity.
