The Environmental laboratory was established to support environmental under- and post-graduate courses to better understand the relation between the natural and the built environment. The educational objective of experimental work is to provide under- and post-graduate students with the necessary skills for performing appropriate laboratory experiments/measurements to determine the physical changes that take place within the natural/built environment using modern tools available in the lab. The instructor or his assistant demonstrate the usage and function of the equipment and instrument involved. Students also get hand-on experience with the way of analysing the tests results and using the results in preparing technical reports. The environmental laboratory lab also serves computer related courses. | ||||||||||

Lab aim |   | ||||||||||
The Digital Fabrication Laboratory (DFL) is a digital CAD/CAM workshop for the production of and experimentation with architectural physical models. It is equiped with Computer Numeric Control (CNC) machines, microcontroller kits, power tools, manual equipment, and working surfaces. As such, the DFL provides an avenue for the teaching and research in various topics in architecture, including, but not limited to: design, building technology, environmental studies, and sculpture. |   | ||||||||||
