The Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport is a fully accredited member of both the Association of Arab Universities and the International Association of Universities. The Academy also has been awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certificate for its educational processes in September 1999.
Undergraduate Programs offered by the Department of Architectural Engineering and Environmental Design-Cairo are accredited by the Supreme Council of Universities in Egypt (SCU), according to decree number 155, dated December 3rd, 2007, and renewed according to decree number 357 dated on December 13th, 2010.
The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) validated the program of undergraduate Architectural Engineering and Environmental Design – Cairo - effective from 2005/6.
For part I, this validation was unconditionally renewed until 2026/27. Moreover, the Department was awarded Part II unconditional accreditation until 2026/27 for the coursework of its MSc program together with the undergraduate year four modules.
