His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, president of the arabe academy received Dr Klaus Schormann, President of the International Union of Modern Pentathlon at the arabe Academy headquarters in Abu Qir-Alexandria
During the meeting, Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar welcomed the President of the International Union of Modern Pentathlon , and wished him all success in his visit.
The meeting touched on a number of fields and sports issues and the joint cooperation methods between the Academy and the International Union of Modern Pentathlon , as well as the possibility of hosting the World Youth Championship 2022 that enhances the development of that sport.
Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar emphasized the academy`s keenness to support various types of sports that enhance cultural acquaintance and meeting between people in a competitive sports framework.
Abdel-Ghaffar indicated also during the meeting that the academy has One of the heroines of the modern pentathlon, Aya Madany who won the world championship in the modern pentathlon for juniors in 2006 and 2008.
For his part, the President of the International Union of Modern Pentathlon expressed his thanks and appreciation for the good reception and generous hospitality that he enjoyed in the academy, praising the capabilities and services provided by a modern infrastructure that is compatible with the highest international standards.
Schorman indicated that he visited Egypt dozens of times, noting that he had all the love, Respect and appreciation for Egypt, its people and civilization: "I am always happy to visit Egypt."
