Practical training for students of the College of Language and Communication at the headquarters in Alexandria during the mid-year vacation
The College of Language and Communication (CLC), Alexandria provides its students with a variety of local, regional and international training opportunities at highly reputable universities, organizations, and T.V channels, as well as advertising and marketing firms, news agencies, and translation companies, to name just a few. “This practical training,” mentions Prof. Abeer Refky, Dean of CLC in Alexandria, “allows students to apply their theoretical knowledge to the media and language industry.” She adds, it also helps students to participate in international conferences, forums, and workshops, which enrich their knowledge, develop their skills, and definitely enhance their ability to innovate.” On the other hand, Dr. Mervat Mahmoud, Vice Dean for Training and Community Service, explains that practical training is a graduation requirement as it is an effective means of helping students acquire a range of skills and field experiences that develops their talents to reach outstanding professional standards. Besides, the CLC-Alexandria main concern is to qualify its graduates and provide them with the necessary skills to compete in the market. Training opportunities include:
