Prof. Islam El Nakib, Dean of CITL has participated in the 20th International Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Commerce, Alexandria University, which was held under the title “Contemporary Challenges and their Impact on Competitiveness and Institutional Excellence” on Thursday, September 8, 2022 in the College’s Great Conference Hall under the auspices of Prof. Muhammad Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, and Dr. Abdel Aziz Qansouh, President of Alexandria University, Prof. El-Sayyed El-Saifi, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, Alexandria University, organizer and head of the conference.
Prof. Islam El Nakib presented a model for the global supply chain turmoil that many industrial sectors suffer from, especially the Automotive industry, due to the great technological changes it is facing and the extent to which it is affected by the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, in addition to reviewing investment opportunities in this sector inside Egypt.
Prof. Elsayed Al-Saifi, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, said that the conference discusses several aspects related to the challenges faced by Egypt and all countries of the world from the dangers of war, challenges of inflation, supply chains and challenges of climate change that affect the stability and future of institutions and the survival and sustainability of the economies of these countries and their various organizations.
Prof. Alaa Al-Gharabawi, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development and Vice President of the Conference, said that the present time is witnessing the era of the massive knowledge revolution in light of international competitiveness, stressing that achieving sustainability depends on their competitive capabilities, noting that organizations succeed by using available resources.
