Competitiveness, Quality and Marketing of Tourism Services
The Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport- Productivity and Quality Institute – organized a training course entitled "Competitiveness, Quality and Marketing of Tourist services" in Sharm el-Sheikh during the period from 24-28 February 2016 for 21 workers in the field of tourism and hospitality. The training course was carried out in collaboration with the Arab tourism, a delegation from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities of the State of Palestine and the support of the Islamic Development Bank and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). The course was designed to identify the importance of tourism and its role in the world economy and local funding, as well as the concept of modern tourism marketing and electronic marketing and relevance to tourism and hotel establishments and seriousness at the same time. The session also touched on how to apply uniform standards of quality in the travel and tourism sector to improve the quality of service offered to the tourist.
