His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Academy, visited the Aquaculture Research Center in Abu Qir, headed by Dr Essam Abdilmawla to learn about the latest and most important researches that are currently being conducted inside the center.
His Excellency was briefed on the ongoing research at the center for hyonics, in which 90% of the water for agriculture is saved.
He also learned about the production of biofertilizers from agricultural waste using the aerobic fermentation system, in addition to the production of fertilizers from spirulina algae.
His Excellency the President of the Academy witnessed the vertical farming systems, which can be applied in areas with limited space, in addition to the project to produce vermi fertilizer using earthworms, which contributes to the disposal of agricultural waste and the production of high-quality organic fertilizer, which contributes to the production of good organic food and also contributes to the disposal of of agricultural waste and converting it into an added value, which contributes to raising the financial return to the farmer as well as reducing the value of production
