Course Learning Outcomes
Provide seafarers in Egypt, other Arabian and African Countries with marine environment protection training in accordance to IMO requirements.
Contribute to the training and rehabilitation of the employees of maritime transport industry and petroleum industry on board of ships, onshore and on offshore drilling units.
Maintaining and operating a ship in accordance with MARPOL 73/78 with a view of protecting the marine environment against oil pollution from ships.
Target Audience
Masters, deck officers and engineer officers of ships of any type.
Surveyors and personnel in maritime administrations, marine and engineer superintendent who are familiar with ships and whose duties require them to be acquainted with provisions for the prevention of oil pollution from ships.
