AAST SA Magazine


Brief: 

The Academy Journal, published by students at the Maritime Academy for Science and Technology, aims to provide a platform for students to publish their research and ideas in the fields of marine science and technology. This journal is a means of enhancing communication among students and encouraging them to conduct scientific research and development, in addition to enhancing academic writing and publishing skills.

Vision:

The vision of the Maritime Academy for Science and Technology is to be a pioneer in providing education and research in the fields of marine science and technology, and to contribute effectively to the development of the maritime community at the local and international levels. The Academy seeks to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet contemporary maritime challenges, thus enhancing their ability to innovate and create.
 

Mission:

The mission of the Journal of the Maritime Academy of Science and Technology is to:

Provide a publishing platform: Provide an opportunity for students to publish their research, ideas, and innovations in the fields of marine science and technology, which enhances their academic interaction and enables them to contribute to the academic community.

Encourage scientific research: Support and promote a culture of research and innovation among students by motivating them to explore new topics and delve into studies related to marine sciences.

Develop academic skills: Enable students to improve their academic writing and critical analysis skills by supervising the publishing and evaluation process, which enhances their ability to communicate effectively.

Promote collaboration and knowledge exchange: Create an environment that encourages collaboration between students from different disciplines, which contributes to the exchange of knowledge and experiences and broadens academic horizons.

Abu Qir

New Year 2025 Celebrations at the Academy: Bright Beginnings and Renewed Hopes

As is the custom of our academy at this time of year, the Department of Cultural and Social Activities at the Deanship of Student Affairs in all faculties decorated the campus to celebrate the New Year, in a collaborative gesture that brings together the administration and students, spreading joy in the atmosphere.

Students of the faculties of Abu Qir site enjoyed putting their artistic and creative touches in decorating every corner of the faculties, which added a distinctive festive spirit. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud Abu El-Azm - Dean of Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Khalifa - Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, were keen to extend New Year's greetings to the deans of the various faculties, including:
• Prof. Dr. Captain Mohi El-Sayeh - Dean of the Faculty of Maritime Transport.
• Prof. Dr. Akram Soliman - Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
• Prof. Dr. Sara El-Gazzar - Dean of the Faculty of International Transport and Logistics.
• Prof. Dr. Hatem Hanfy - Dean of the Faculty of Aquaculture and Pharmacy.
• Prof. Dr. Amira Sonbol - Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy.

Many memorial photos were taken with the deans and students, who filled the corridors of the academy with laughter and positive feelings, and exchanged memorial photos with the various decorations, creating an atmosphere of joy and hope.

Abu Qir

The Department of Cultural and Social Activities in Abu Qir organized the closing ceremony of the student activities of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at the main headquarters of the Academy, organized by the Department of Cultural and Social Activities in Abu Qir, in the presence of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Academy, on 30/12/2024.
