The course provides a strong practical foundation by introducing leaders you can relate to and reinforcing your knowledge with frequent skill-building activities.

Objectives

  • The course will help students to understand the evolving nature of leadership. It will introduce different concepts, theories and how leaders differ from managers. The course will highlight how employees’ behavior provides a major challenge for leaders. How leaders learn to take advantage of individual differences, group diversity, intergroup conflicts to improve organizational performance and effectiveness. An integral part of this course is to develop students’ skills to analyze different successful and charismatic leaders existing in real life and in real organizations through case studies and discussions.
