An MoU between the College of Computers and Information Technology, South Valley, and the Information Technology Institute (ITI)
Prof. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of AASTMT, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between AASTMT represented in the College of Computers and Information Technology, South Valley, and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology represented in the Information Technology Institute (ITI) headed by Dr. Heba Saleh, President of the ITI, on Wednesday 24-February-2021.
In a statement following the event, Prof. Ghaffar confirmed that this agreement represents the academy`s leading role as an Arab scientific organization specialized in education, training, and research under the umbrella of the League of Arab States. AASTMT is one of the Arab joint-work organizations assigned to serve the Arab community and its advancement in various education fields. On the other hand, within the Egyptian government`s effort to raise the efficiency and use of communication and information technology in different sectors, the ITI, as a scientific and training institution whose objectives include preparing specialists in the field of information technology, pursues its pioneering role in the process of developing human resources by organizing scientific and practical courses in various specializations in the field of information technology and innovation. To complement its pioneering role in developing the information technology community in Egypt, especially in Aswan and the South Valley, the ITI responds to the region`s economic and societal needs, which will benefit from administrative facilities and technical capabilities and training experiences available to both parties.
