 Ballast Water Management Convention by IMO and the USCG legislation, including their implementation schedules Options for complying with ballast water management legislation Operational limitations of the various ballast water treatment technologies Ship types and trades which may be suited to other alternative compliance options (such as using reception facilities) Clarify Failure to comply with these new regulations can lead to detention by Port State Control, invalidation of certificates, and fines. Give full Awareness about Improper ballast water discharge contributes to significant health risks, environmental damage, and economic costs. Rules and requirements for proper ballast water exchange How to properly complete the ballast water management plan and record book How to prepare and respond to an inspection
