Objectives

  • Level 4 corresponds to an upper-intermediate level of English proficiency. At this stage, learners can understand more complex language in a variety of contexts, communicate effectively with native speakers, and handle more advanced grammar structures. The goal of this level is to refine speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills while expanding vocabulary and understanding more abstract and nuanced language.

Outcomes

By the end of General English Level 4, learners will: • Be able to communicate effectively in a wide range of situations, both formal and informal. • Understand and produce more complex language, including abstract concepts, nuanced opinions, and detailed descriptions. • Have a deeper understanding of grammar structures, vocabulary, and pronunciation for more advanced communication.
