Objectives

  • Level 5 corresponds to an advanced level of English proficiency. At this stage, learners can use English flexibly and effectively for social, academic, and professional purposes. They are able to understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and can express themselves fluently and spontaneously in most situations. The focus is on refining advanced grammar, mastering vocabulary, and developing the ability to discuss complex issues with ease.

Outcomes

By the end of General English Level 5, learners will be able to: • Express themselves fluently and spontaneously in almost any situation. • Understand and produce complex written and spoken English in academic, professional, and social contexts. • Engage critically with advanced materials, analyzing, synthesizing, and evaluating content with ease.
