Objectives

  • In a General English Level 2 course, learners are expected to achieve certain outcomes across different language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

Outcomes

By the end of the course, students should feel more confident using English in everyday conversations, be able to express themselves clearly in writing, and have the foundation to advance to a higher level of proficiency.

Course Contents

1-Grammar: • Present Simple and Present Continuous tenses. • Past Simple tense. • Basic future expressions (e.g., “I will” and “going to”). • Modal verbs like “can”, “should”, and “must.” • Comparatives and superlatives (e.g., bigger, the best). • Countable and uncountable nouns.2-Vocabulary: • Common adjectives, nouns, and verbs used in daily life.3-Speaking: • Introduce yourself and talk about your job, hobbies, and interests. • Ask and answer simple questions in everyday situations (e.g., at the store, in a restaurant). • Simple conversations for making plans, ordering food, or giving directions.4-Listening: • Understand short, simple conversations on familiar topics. • Practice listening for main ideas or specific details.5-Reading: • Read short passages or dialogues about daily life. • Practice understanding the general meaning and some key information.6-Writing: • Write simple sentences or short paragraphs (e.g., about yourself or your routine). • Fill out f
