Objectives

• This introductory of Interior Design Diploma shall boost your passionate skills and sharpen your knowledge for thisworld of Interior Design and its main target is to widen your spectrum of understanding of spaces and areas, finishingproducts, illumination and interior furnishing along with dress-up.

- Apply skills to design and decorate any space like a professional- Able to differentiate between Design Styles and Design Trends- Able to handle the interior design setup from concept to surface finishing to dress-up- Understand the color theory and how to work with balanced lighting- Select suitable furniture pieces and give an artistic flair

Course Contents

UNIT 1:YOUR INNER DESIGNER SENSE (6 HRS ON 2 SESSIONS)We will start by the three Basic Guidelines for Interior Design. Once they understand these guidelines, westart going through different interior design styles and their differences Once they know this, they'll be ableto apply the same intelligence to their own interior setups and look books.This will also include creating a look book from each participant for his preferred design style along with their sourcesusing Pinterest applications UNIT 2: ACQUIRING SOME SKILLS (9 HRS ON 3 SESSIONS)we'll start to look at successful rooms in a new way, we'll know what makes an effective design work.Participants will start applying fundamental concepts of measurement and planning as they begin toactually create a physical sketch of their first room. From windows and doors to heating and coolingunits, we'll walk them through a step by step tutorial as they draft their first real room sketch.This will also include teaching participants
