Upon successful completion of this course, the student will have reliably demonstrated the ability to:1.Explain the various functions of human resource management and identify their relationship to the workplace from the perspective of both employee and employer.2.Apply the principles of human resource management to the automotive industry in the areas of hiring, compensation and benefits, and government legislation.3.Identify social issues relating to human resource management such as systemic discrimination and develop approaches to resolving these problems in the workplace through various methods learned in class.4.Identify and predict human resource management trends in the automotive industry and develop proactive solutions and techniques of adaptation to changing industry demands5.
